As you remember, a few years ago, the December meetings of ophthalmologists at the Pirogov Center were devoted to the proliferative syndrome in ophthalmology
And as before, this topic is relevant, but today the forum includes a wider range of discussed issues that ophthalmologists encounter in their daily practice.
Among them, of undoubted interest are such as: surgery for complicated cataracts, expansion of indications for anti-VEGF therapy and the possibility of its combination with other types of treatment, is it justified to refuse extrascleral filling in surgery of retinal detachments.
Due to the fact that there is an increase in the number of patients who underwent vitreoretinal surgery, the features of managing patients with silicone tamponade deserve attention.
